About this speaker
Tess joined Groundswell in January 2022 to be part of the Listen Up! Team – a project, funded by Comic Relief, which works to amplify lived experience through citizen journalism.
Prior to Groundswell, Tess worked for Inspiring Change Manchester and Shelter where she promoted co-production and co-ordinated service user involvement in systems change.
Tess also co-chaired the Mental Health Action Group as part of the Manchester Homelessness Partnership.
She is driven by her own experience of homelessness and history of mental health difficulties.
