Megan has worked in the Homelessness Sector since 2018. After experiencing a period of homelessness when she was a teenager, it gave her the desire to want to support those facing a similar situation.
Megan currently supervises the Homelessness Team and Housing Support Team at New Forest District Council and has done so since 2020. She specialises in both partnership working and mental health and is passionate about advocating for a better understanding and acceptance of mental health of employees.
Megan lives in the New Forest with her two children and a never ending collection of rescue animals. Homelessness work does take over most of her life, however, she also enjoys spending time outside in nature
